A Note From Our Founders

Were trying out something new. Each month well be sending out a letter from us to give you the thoughts behind our products and process.

Theres always this week in New York, usually Mid-May, where suddenly you wonder if youll ever see the sun again. Its rainy, its gloomy, it feels unseasonably cold, and the cloudy days stretch out before you. And then, all of a sudden, the sun comes out, all that rain has led to a lush, verdant bloom, and you realize that summer is just around the corner. That day happened here this past week, and with the sun I realized that just as suddenly were in June.

June is Pride, which is always a time of celebration and reflection for us a queer-owned business. To give back to the more marginalized members of our community, weve created a Limited Edition Pride Cooling Mineral Hydro Mist, for which 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the Ali Forney Center, the largest non-profit providing shelter and healthcare services to LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness in New York City. The packaging for this Limited Edition Mist was designed by our own David Krause, who wanted to show queer people unapologetically enjoying themselves.

And, I am so excited to say that we are also celebrating Pride this month in style at the gorgeous 1 Hotel. Ive missed in-person events where we get to meet, and this feels like a return to form.
