At Baabuk, we never let good wool go to waste. Thats why our B-corp colleagues Finisterre chose us as their expert partners to help solve their recent wool problem. Theres always a creative & woolly solution.

In the aftermath of COVID, Finisterre learned that the limited flock of Bowmont Merino sheep that supply their woolly products had not been sheared on time. This meant their wool was impossible to clean, spin, and turn into their usual products Enter Baabuk. In collaboration with fellow B Corp, Baabuk, we found a solution. The result is this incredibly cosy, one-off wool slipper - hand crafted by Nepalese artisans.

Traditional techniques, with attitude. Finisterre turned to us as an expert in premium, hand-felted footwear, to provide a beautiful solution to the 500kg of cherished Bowmont wool that would have otherwise gone to waste. Thanks to the unrivalled ancestral knowledge of our Nepalese artisans, we helped them create a unique, limited edition wool slipper with the cosiness and attitude youd expect from Baabuk slippers.
