Collarless Shirt
The Collarless Shirt, now often called the Grandad Shirt, has roots on the factory floors of industrial 1920s Britain and America. As industrial machinery became faster and more dangerous, factory-working men stopped wearing ties, and so the extra material needed for the collar became obsolete.
Our Collarless shirt is designed in this style, made from 6.3oz Chambray fabric from Japan, a fabric known for its robust texture and breathability. This shirt also features distinctive traditional details such as the button-hole at the back of the neck and belt loop on the back yoke. Its a shirt for everyday life, even if your everyday life rarely involves heavy machinery.
