2023 Year in Review

You are the reason we are here. You form our community of valued friends and neighbors, helping us to care, share, and offer support. You join us in our commitment to honor our environment, as we use and replenish its resources with wisdom and artistry. You are our 2023 highlight reel. Thank you!

We are proud of the continued support for our partnership with The Stephen Siller Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation. In 2023, we furnished 5 homes for wounded vets and first responders (in Raleigh, Paramus, Richmond, and Sarasota). And this years holiday GiveBack GiveAway donated an additional $5000 tribute from Bassett in the name of one lucky customer. Your purchases make this partnership possible.

In 2023, we planted 32,000 trees in the Appalachian region, reforesting the land from which we harvest the wood for our BenchMade heirloom furnishings. Next spring, well plant 29,600 more, bringing to 200,050 the total of trees planted by Bassett since 2016. As we continue to produce enduringly beautiful furniture for your home from these sustained forests, your purchase is also providing American artisans a sustainable way to pursue their craft and livelihood.

At Bassett, we take pride in all we build, and that includes the many ways that our furnishings can make their way home to you. If you live in Dallas (Inwood) or Austin, 2023 brought you new or newly renovated stores for your in-person shopping. We also have keys in hand to our new Tampa store, opening the first week of January! And we launched our new website in August, giving you streamlined access to Bassett design, dcor, and furnishings when and where its most convenient for you. Be sure to look for us at a store near you in 2024.
