Fatty Jerky

What is it?
It's our regular strips of jerky, but it has more fat than our regular jerky (usually much less thanbacon). It has a bit more moisture than our regular jerky, and the fat adds a dimension of flavor that will overwhelm your taste buds. The fatty version of our jerky has been available uponrequest since 2010, but we started making it available to a wider audience a few years ago.

How do I get some?
You won't find it listed anywhere on our website (it's still a semi-secret). Place your order as normal. Then, use the Customer Notes box on the checkout page to tell us which bags you would like to be "fatty" jerky. It is only available in beef jerky strips (not available in Turkey jerky or beef Steak Fries).

Though April 28th, use the special coupon code SPRINGFATTYwhen checking out. and you don't have to enter fatty in the Customer Notes section.

Misc info about "fatty" beef jerky
As the name implies, "fatty" jerky is different than our regular jerky. It has more moisture than our regular jerky and will be more tender because of it. The moisture will also cause it to have a shorter shelf life. We recommend refrigerating it after opening or eating it within a couple of days. The fat content isn't consistent; some strips will have hardly any fat, while others will be well marbled. The "fattiest" strips will generally have less fat than you'd find in bacon.
