Hi ,
I get a lot of messages asking me what I recommend for specific concerns, so this month, I thought I would do a roundup of my most frequently asked questions to share my feedback with you.
I hope some of these help you if you are experiencing similar concerns.
What do you recommend for hair growth?
Red Light Therapy is a great tool for boosting hair growth. Not just for those with thinning or balding hair, but its also great for keeping your hair healthy and thick. It works by stimulating blood flow and increasing oxygen and nutrient delivery to hair follicles. 15-20 minutes a few times a week should bring results.
Can Red Light Therapy reduce cellulite?
Yes, absolutely; red light therapy is so powerful and has many benefits, with a reduction in the appearance of cellulite being just one. It boosts energy metabolism and promotes collagen production, which works to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Should I get a Sauna Blanket or a Red Light Therapy Panel?
This question comes up a lot, and I always say it comes down to what you are looking to achieve. Both options improve sleep, help calm and relax and soothe aching muscles, but if you are also looking to release impurities, elevate your heart rate and boost cardiovascular fitness, then the sauna blanket is a better option. If you are looking to target your skin, such as reducing fine lines/wrinkles, blemishes, stretch marks and cellulite, then red light therapy is better for this. If I can only afford to get one pair of blue light glasses, should I get the daytime or nighttime pair?
Here you have two options, optimise your daytime light environment or nighttime. I typically suggest to start with a pair of nighttime blue light blocking glasses as these will help you sleep better, and better sleep brings so many benefits. If you really struggle with digital eye strain during the day at work, however, you may wish to start with daytime computer glasses and then add in a pair of nighttime blue light-blocking glasses when the time is right for you.
