Its been a busy start to the year at Carys Martin Ceramics! The studio is a buzz with learning and laughter at our pottery classes and my creativity is flowing over as I fill up the studio shop shelves with lots of new work.

Our first event of the year is fast approaching, I will be at Mind Body Spirit festival on 23-25 Feb at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. I have been busy creating lots of new pieces (I will even have a small number of original lino and cyanotype prints with me!) especially for this festival and have some specials ready for you, so come along and see me at stand C23.

I cannot wait to share new creations with you that are inspired by our Whispers From The Woods oracle deck and companion book. The Celtic wisdom, folklore and folktales are coming alive in my work and, just like the cards, willhelp you to tap into your intuition and raise your self awareness, whilst connecting you to nature and the ancient lands of our Celtic forefathers. LUNAR NEW YEAR MANIFESTING

Lunar New Year is the moon calendar festival to feast and honour your home, heavenly deities, ancestors, and to welcome in prosperity, abundance, togetherness and good luck.

Given there is a conscious collectiveness of over a billion people from Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Singapore and China, indulging in ritual and abundance intention setting....now is the time to ride that energy and set your own intentions for creating your most abundant year imaginable.

Abundance isn't something outside of you, its your mindset, your way of thinking, being and feeling.

Gather your favourite crystal, essential oils, candle, auspicious objects, a cup of tea, pen, journal and set up your ritual space (we love using @carysmartinceramics moon plates and a card pull from Whispers from the Woods Oracle Deck!).

Channel this years auspicious Dragon's roaring personal power and courage into your heart space and set your intentions for this Lunar New Year -

1. When choosing your intention, remember to go deeper beneath the object or experience to explore what emotion or feeling you are trying to bring into your life.

If, for example, you want more money, what you may really be wishing for, is more freedom! Ask yourself, What do I want? Why do I want it? What good will it bring into my life? How will I feel when it happens?

2. Your intention needs to be said and written in the present tense and in the first person.

The Law of Attraction is powered up if you are already thinking, feeling and acting like your intention has already manifested! Eliminate words of lack and statements that suggest you dont already have something, such as one day...., some day.... I want...., etc. Replace with a firm knowing statement, such as I am...., I have..., My intention is....

3. See, or imagine your intention as if its already happened.

Close your eyes and imagine what you're wanting to manifest, playing out like a movie. Take note of the feeling as you imagine successfully getting or living how you want. Feel it, see it, smell it, feel it, know it. Let that 'feeling' wash over you from the top of your head, through your entire body as you breathe your intentions slowly and deeply into your being.

Mindfully and intentionally setting your Lunar New Year wishes will allow you to move from a stage of being hopeful...to a state of inspired action and a new reality!
