OHIO STATE'S TREVEYON HENDERSON WILL RETURN AGAINST WISCONSIN
Ohio State has been without star running back TreVeyon Henderson for the past three games after he suffered an unidentified injury against Notre Dame last month. Henderson proved to be a huge part of the Buckeyes offense as he rushed for 295 yards and five touchdowns in four games before suffering the injury. On Thursday, Ohio State coach Ryan Day announced that Henderson will play against Wisconsin this Saturday.
Here's more from Shehan Jeyarajah on why Henderson's return is a huge deal:
"His return is a significant one as Ohio State continues to deal with depth issues at running back. Chip Trayanum and Miyan Williams have both dealt with injuries, forcing the team to lean on converted receiver Xavier Johnson and even backup quarterback Devin Brown to provide key rushes. The results have been poor: Without Henderson, Ohio State has twice rushed for fewer than 2.0 yards per attempt (vs. Maryland and Penn State) and averaged a paltry 3.2 yards per carry overall and 97.7 yards rushing per game, which would trail Northwestern for No. 120 nationally."
The Hot Ticket
Buccaneers at Bills, 8:15 p.m. | Watch live: Prime Video
The Pick: Buccaneers +9.5 (-110)
Key trend: The Bills have failed to cover the spread in each of their last three games.
SportsLine expert R.J. White is 6-3 in his last nine NFL ATS picks.
"The Bucs were lucky to only suffer a close loss last week, as three red zone fumbles by Desmond Ridder made the game look less like a blowout. I'd typically look to fade a team with that profile, but I don't know how the Bills are going to beat anyone by double digits right now. The offense has scored just 10 points in the first half in the last three weeks, and the defense made Mac Jones look like an All-Pro last week. Buffalo has a lot to figure out right now, and I don't expect them to do it on a short week. The Bills probably get the win but don't cover."
