The matchup for the Super Bowl is officially set with the Kansas City Chiefs set to face off against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas. That Feb. 11 contest is nearly two weeks away, but we've got a massive 12-game NBA slate on Monday. 49ERS ARE BEING TABBED AS EARLY FAVORITES IN SUPER BOWL LVIII

The Chiefs and 49ers each advanced to Super Bowl LVIII following their respective victories on Sunday. It's been nearly 24 hours since the conference title games ended, and the 49ers have been tabbed as the favorite by sportsbooks in advance of "The Big Game." San Francisco iscurrently a one-point favorite in most places after being as much as a 2.5-point favorite at one point since the line opened. The 49ers did need to rally from a 17-point halftime deficit to the defeat the Detroit Lions in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

CBS Sports NFL writer Cody Benjamin offered his prediction for Super Bowl LVIII:

"Across the board, the 49ers probably have a talent advantage, boasting Pro Bowl-caliber weapons at basically every position. And Brock Purdy proved against Detroit he's capable of overcoming adversity. But just like last year, when theEagles

' all-star lineup couldn't necessarily match the clutch gravitas of the Chiefs, it's tough to bet against Mahomes when it matters most. This one will be must-see TV, but our early forecast is a slight Kansas City victory. Call it 27-24 Chiefs."
