BUCKS FIRE HEAD COACH ADRIAN GRIFFIN

The Milwaukee Bucks are making a change at the top as the team has fired head coach Adrian Griffin. This is Griffin's first season as an NBA head coach, and he served as the Bucks head coach for just 43 games. During that time, Griffin led the Bucks to a 30-13 record, and they're currently the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference behind the Boston Celtics. It's the franchise's second head coaching change in less than a calendar year after they fired Mike Budenholzer following an early 2023 postseason exit.

"The Bucks are reportedly considering a small group of veteran former head coaches as possible replacements for Griffin, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. That includes former Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doc Rivers, who is currently broadcasting games for ESPN, as well as top assistant Joe Prunty, who is set to serve as the interim coach."
