Dashael was designed by Emily O'Dell. This is a beautifully simple, elegant piece designed to remind you that during those times when life may feel overwhelming, when all hope is lost and fear has taken root in your heart, we can always turn to our crafts for solace and comfort. It may not seem like a

monumental thing, knitting a stitch. But in reality, it's huge! You knit a stitch and then another, and yes, another. And before long, you have a beautiful, physical representation of the peace and calm you were able to create for yourself, and that's an amazing thing!

This pattern is suitable for the Adventurous Beginner knitter. Skills include faux

cables, increases, color changes, and blocking.

I just adore the beautiful Baby Eyelet Cable stitch that you see throughout this pattern, as well as all of the gorgeous stitches and different textures. Patterns like these are so incredibly fun to make because the variation in stitches keeps things interesting. It's like going on a journey... Where will the next row, the next repeat lead?
