Empowering women to prioritize self-care

Happy International Women's Day and International Women's History Month! Another one of my favorite months next to February. As women we may wear many hats: mother, daughter, wife, grandmother, CEO, teacher, mentor, protector, nurturer, and the list goes on. But often times we can lose sight of ourselves and what it is that brings "us" joy along the way.

I always say it's okay to be selfish sometimes, in fact it's absolutely necessary. One of the primary reasons I founded COCOTIQUE was to encourage women to prioritize self-care in their everyday lives. We don't realize just much our wellbeing and mental health depend on it. A little self-care, goes a long way. So this month, hug yourself a little tighter, sleep in a little longer, indulge in the things that bring you joy just a bit more.
