Text Summary Of This Email

To paraphrase the last couple months of work at the factory.
Production engineering for a sewing floor is reading a few books by Shigeo Shingo and then watching someone work on a specific task for hours, or some times days. Then make incremental improvements to productivity by streamlining work stations and eliminating waisted actions like moving a pile of jeans from point A to point B.
The result is significantly improved sewing times and consistency.
The increase in productivity allows me to pay my employees more. We have moved from a hourly pay rate to base pay and production bonus. Some folks are taking home 25% more than they were just a few weeks ago. That is huge!
Production is up.
Wages are up.
Consistency is up.
Prices are going down!
Right now I am running the WELCOME20 for 20% off your order at Dearborn Denim.
