Import to Existing Projects

We're excited to share a BIG update to Hive's import functionality. We understand how important staying up-to-date with project data is, which is why we're introducing the ability Import to Existing Projects.

With this update, users can import CSV data directly into an existing project instead of starting from scratch. This will help teams who frequently combine existing projects from other platforms or large projects that require consistent updates.

Eliminate the extra steps to organize your data, streamline your project management process and save valuable project time. Landing in your workspace soon!

FEATURE UPDATES

Add/remove multiple project members at once

If you're part of a big team or working on a large project, we understand efficiency is key. We've made it easier than ever to make changes to multiple project members at once. Instead of going through the tedious process of deleting and adding each user individually, you can now edit multiple members simultaneously.

In Project Navigator, the "Add people to projects" button has been updated to "Manage project members." From there, you can easily invite multiple users to projects or remove users from projects at once.

admins to edit project template

Allow admins only to edit Project Template

Project owners and administrators now have the ability to edit template permissions. With this new feature, administrators and owners can determine who is allowed to alter templates.

Find this setting by accessing Workspace Settings -> Templates and scrolling to "Permissions" in the individual Template's editing menu. From here, project owners and admins can choose whether or not all members or just admins can edit a template.

If the "Project owner and Admins only" option is selected, all regular members will not be able to edit the template.
