Founded in 2008 by Jos Buivenga, exljbris Font Foundry is a small one-man independent type design company from the Netherlands. Since the beginning it is offering quality type for very affordable pricing. On top of that for most typefaces a regular weight is offered for free, so the complete font library is very accessible can be easily put to the test. Exljbris Font Foundry is well known for the very popular Museo, Museo Sans and Calluna fonts. Many exljbris faces got featured in MyFonts Best Seller lists. In 2010, in collaboration with Martin Majoor the extensive Questa family was released.

Museo Sans is based on the well-known Museo. It is a sturdy, low contrast, geometric, highly legible sans serif typeface very well suited for any display and text use. This OpenType font family offers also support for CE languages and even Esperanto. Besides ligatures, automatic fractions, proportional/tabular lining and old-style figures, numerators, denominators, superiors, and inferiors, Museo Sans also has a case feature for case sensitive forms.

Geotica
The idea behind Geotica was to build a font out of -more or less- simple geometrical line elements. The open wire frame could then be left open or (partially) filled. Geotica comes in four different grades or line thicknesses (One, Two, Three and Four) so it's suitable for a broad use. Each grade has four styles and is loaded with swashes, final forms, lots of ligatures and ornaments.

Exljbris Designer
Jos Buivenga can be passionate about a lot of things. He loves to play golf, ride his motor cycle, brew an almost perfect espresso... but nothing challenges and rewards him more than designing type. When his one-man foundry exljbris began selling his first commercial typeface Museo through MyFonts in 2008, several weights were offered for free. The generosity paid off: Museo became a meteoric bestseller. The rest is history...
