I'm in a season of rest and recharge, so when I had some unexpected free time in May, Mallorca was the ideal place for me to retreat to. I didnt have much of an agenda because it was so last minute; my goal was just to be present and leave feeling inspired.

The Darya in Pearl
The Energy: The architecture in Mallorca is breathtaking; the island is filled with this romantic energy that really comes out during the summer. Palma is also pretty pedestrian-friendly and bustling with trendy Europeans, so it's fun to people-watch.
The Calas: Calas are these stunning bays/coves sprinkled across the coast. Most of them have beachfront restaurants, towel services, onsite massages...etc so it's quite the experience. You can easily spend a full day there.
The People: The people in Spain are so friendly and welcoming. It was so easy to meet other solo travelers and maneuver around the island alone. I spent the last few days exploring with other solo travelers I met and it was the best part of the trip.
