King Family Vineyards is know locally for their summer polo matches. Named for the fictional seventh chukker in a polo match, this wine is produced from 100% Petit Verdot, aged for 22 months in bourbon barrels, and fortified with brandy.

The Petit Verdot is Jefferson Vineyards' headlining red. Bursting with red fruit, it offers a bright, balanced palate and pairs equally well with red meats as it does with chocolate sweets.
