Austin here,

At 13, I started working behind the gun show tables, selling holsters with my Mom (Cheryl)

(She kept us working growing up.)

Obviously, I wasn't carrying a real gun at that time

But I COULD-NOT WAIT TO TURN 18!

Every chance I got, you'd find me walking around the show, harassing other vendors, checking out their guns.

(They liked it, though.)

For the longest time, I wanted a 1911; it felt great in the hand, shot big bullets, and had that iconic reputation!

One day, years down the road, a 17-year-old Austin was roaming the Richmond, VA gun show and stumbled upon a rather unique gun.

The model of this particular pistol was the CZ P-10C with the tactical package that offered suppressor height sights & a threaded barrel!

But that's only the surface; here's what got me hoookkeed

THE ERGONOMICS! MY GOSH, IT WAS PERFECT IN MY HAND! IT WAS DEAD ON, NO AIMING NEEDED!

I went home and researched, quickly finding it was awarded "gun of the year" by Shooters Illustrated & had loads of positive feedback!

But here's the thing

I still had to wait MONTHS to get it, and that excitement was multiplying by the day!!!

Imagine looking forward to carrying like "the adults" for the past 5 straight years, and now you're within arm's reach of that day!

On January 14th (my B-Day) Mom had a gun box with the CZ logo waiting on the gun show table!

My heart dropped when I saw it! (Imagine the facial expressions of Ralphie from My Christmas Story when unwrapping his BB gun!)

I was then gifted that CZ P-10 and have carried it ever since!

The pistol has proven to be nothing short of impeccable and gets smoother with the years!
