Dear Tim,

I wanted to follow up with you one more time on our Word of Life initiative in case you havent had a chance to read my letter.

The urgency with which were pursuing this new initiative comes from the fact that wherever our kids go, their faith and morals are under attack.

You know this as well as I do. Our children need to be taught to think, to contemplate, to pray, to use their freedom well, and to give of themselves in sacrificial love after the model of Our Savior and the saints whose lives changed history. And thats even before we get to questions of personal identity as men and women made in the image of God.

How will our children learn what the truth is, as taught by the Catholic Church?

With your help, Word of Life will provide our youth and their parents and teachers with dynamic, new books and media to help them:

Become deeply familiar with the Bible, biblical history, and how God is present in our lives today and how we are a part of His plan.
Learn about what it means to be human and how to live in accordance with God's plan for happiness on earth and in Heaven.
Know how to live a virtuous and holy life of Christian discipleship in this modern world.
And so much more!

Since Im asking for your generous support in this game-changing endeavor, let me tell you what exactly your contribution today will do.

You will help build the new, robust, and dynamic Word of Life platform, create new content, and produce and distribute the programs printed materials to families and schools from coast to coast.

All in all, Ignatius has committed $3.5 million to this $6 million project. We are confident in your support because while grades K-6 are now completed, we need $2.5 million more to complete grades 7 and 8, as well as the remainder of the digital platform.
