While Abril makes a plethora of wines from it's historic property, we've really fallen for a their entry-level Malbec under the Pie de Palo name. Abril created the Pie de Palo line to offer a classic, correct, and straight forwardly delicious wines at stunningly low prices, and this red certainly succeeds.
Bright raspberries and cherries burst from the glass, leading a a soft and easy finish. Fermented and aged solely in stainless steel, this has lots of fruit, and very little tannin, making it a perfect red to chill down a bit on a hot day.
