JOEY SAYS: If you are a Captain Marvel/Shazam fan, like I am, you absolutely should have some Black Adam books in your collection. 52 is a dynamic series that put a lot of protagonists in major roles, where the DC major players were out of commission as this series takes place in the missing year between Infinite Crisis and One Year Later. A series that helped rebuild the DC Universe post Crisis. This issue gives more humanity to Black Adam as he uses his powers for good, and eventually gets Marvels approval to give Adrianna the power of Isis. For collectors, we get the first appearance of the second Isis, and the amulet of Isis. In a CGC 9.4 this book is right in the sweet spot for a modern key. Sales are moderate in this grade, and can fit any budget.
