How can we dream of a world that is ecologically just and rooted in equity for all human and nonhuman life? The newest project for MoMAs Crown Creativity Lab, Dreaming a World for Change, offers a space where you can consider your relationship to the environments you inhabit through activities and resources designed by artists and community organizations. What might a world look like in which we have all we need for ourselves and our communities?Organized in conjunction with the exhibition Emerging Ecologies: Architecture and the Rise of Environmentalism, Dreaming a World for Change encourages you to play the game WHAT IF?, created by artists Sarah Rothberg and Marina Zurkow, that invites you to imagine a world you want to live in; learn about urban gardening and environmental justice through resources designed by the Lower Eastside Girls Club; and share your own personal reflections.Stop by the Crown Creativity Lab on your next visit and join us in finding inspiration in our galleries and beyondmake art with your family, experience Rirkrit Tiravanijas participatory artworksat MoMA PS1, share your reflections with our writing club, and more.
