Dear Orion Customer,

Thank you for being a valued Orion Telescopes & Binoculars customer. I very much appreciate the opportunity to provide you with this update on the steps we are taking to better serve you.

First, I must always begin by thanking you for supporting Orion especially during these challenging times. Without you, we would not be in business and celebrating our 47^th anniversary. From all the employees and employee-owners at Orion, thank you!

Second,Orion, Meade and Coronado are running a number of holiday promotions that can be found at www.telescope.com, www.telescope.com/meade, and www.telescope.com/coronado. We invite you to check them out and consider making a purchase.

Third, four waves of popular Orion products have returned recently including:

We expect additional popular Orion products to return in 2023, along with new products, and will announce them as we get closer to first shipment dates.

Fourth, on the Meade front, we continue to celebrate Meade's 50th year, and in June celebrated our one year ownership anniversary.

We have re-shored and are now shipping the popular LX85 EQ Mount along with 6 and 8 ACF, and 6 and 8 Reflector configurations. We are very proud to add another product line that we can say is "Designed and Manufactured in North America," and many of you may not be aware that the ACF primary, secondary and corrector plate mirror blanks have been and continue to be manufactured exclusively for Meade by a trusted partner in the USA. The popular LX85 polar scope is also on track to ship late in December.

Additional products are on track for announcement and launch next year.

We also made significant progress with re-shoring back to North America the supply chain and expect the remaining corner cases to be resolved here in late 2022, facilitating full production of select Coronado products and the StarLock products.

I have been gratified by the encouragement we have received from the hobbyists and industry participants, and expect to have more information to share in early 2023. Meade customer service can be reached directly at or 800-626-3233 (USA).

Fifth, I am pleased to announce the reopening of Orions Watsonville, CA retail store which includes a nice mix of Orion, Meade, Coronado, and select binocular brands' floor models. Please visit this link for store hours, and we look forward to your visit.

Sixth, I would like to remind you that many of our Orion Authorized Dealers have partnered with us for over 15 years and a complete list of Orion Authorized dealers can be found here. We encourage you to visit them often and purchase Orion products.

Seventh, Meade also has a significant and growing network of domestic and international Meade Authorized Resellers, many of whom have partnered with Meade for over 10 years. A complete list of Meade Authorized Resellers can be found here. I encourage you to visit them also and purchase Meade and Coronado products.

Eighth, as some of you are aware, Orion has been the plaintiff in a multi-year anti-trust litigation case that resulted in a jury verdict in Orion's favor. Recently, Orion filed a new complaint in California Superior Court alleging that the co-conspirator (Celestron LLC) committed actual fraudulent transfer and tortious interference in order to impede Orion's legal rights to collect monies owed Orion by the Defendant / conspirator (Ningbo Sunny Electronic Co., LTD.).
