"I don't tend to go toward larger ring gauges, but made an exception since this one was quite short, and I am glad that I did - it has Padron's easy draw (a punch cut is the most I'd recommend with this), perfect combustion, and rich flavours. I found the cigar to be multi-faceted - spiced (not black pepper), earthy (like a rich vegetable stew almost), coffee (dark roast for sure), and what I have learned is premium aged Nicaraguan tobacco flavour. As someone who predominantly leans toward Dominican cigars, I can say without reservation that this is the best vitola of the Padron 1964 series that I have had yet. An enthusiastic five stars."
