A Vintage Love Story

SeaVees was born in '64 and rediscovered in a thrift store. Were all about giving something old a second life, so we asked a few of our friends to share the stories behind the things theyve held onto. Our Social Media Coordinator, Zari Robbins, shares her perfectly-crafted denim collection.

When I was 14 years old, I found my first tan leather Coach backpack at a thrift shop. It was the perfect size for my books and I wore it until it literally fell apart. If Im totally honest, I like vintage because I like the thought of someone else not having it [laughs]. I love that feeling when it seems meant for me, when its the perfect fit and I know Im not going to see another person at the coffee shop wearing the same thing."

"Out of all the vintage denim in my collection, the Levis orange tab jacket from the 90s is my favorite. I got it from a pretty famous musician in Los AngelesI cant tell you who it is, but its a great weight and its faded just around the shoulders from the sun. Its worn in perfectly in a way you could never reproduce. A vintage piece had an entire life on someone else, and now I feel like I get to continue the story.
