Send me inspo, pretty please! | Jamie Schneider, Beauty & Health Editor | | | | | | This fruit was just linked to lower dementia risk | One cup of strawberries a day keeps dementia away? Sounds about right, according to a recent study. | | Researchers split middle-aged participants with overweight (5 men and 25 women) into two groups. | | | One received 13 grams of strawberry powder (equal to 1 cup of fresh strawberries) created from desiccated, freeze-dried, and milled strawberries. The second group received a control powder with the same look and feel (but no antioxidants). | | | After 12 weeks, the strawberry group had reduced memory interferencemeaning that other information did not interfere with learning and recall tasks. Memory interference is common in late life dementia, researchers say. | | | Strawberries arent in season right now, but the good news is that the researchers saw these effects using freeze-dried powderso go ahead and snag some freeze-dried or even frozen strawbs for the sake of brain health.

But according to new research, there's something else you might try before reaching for medication: exercise. | - Given ED is often linked with heart issues, inflammation, and narrowed arteries, researchers wanted to know if aerobic exercise could improve erectile function.
- Researchers analyzed data from 11 different clinical trials, looking at the effect of aerobic exercise versus non exercising controls on erectile function.
- Sure enough, aerobic exercise significantly improved erectile function scores. This effect was greatest among men with lower scores at baseline. Exercise sessions were typically 30 to 60 minutes of aerobic exercise (i.e., walking, biking, jogging, swimming) 3 to 5 times a week.
| Not to mention, aerobic exercise is completely free and accessible.

| | Low-Lift Tip Of The Week | Heads up: You might be even more dehydrated in the cooler months. The theory is that most of us associate sweat with needing to drink more water; so when you dont sweat as much (like when its cold out), the urge to drink may get put on the back burner.
To inspire yourself to drink more HO, try making "herbal waters by adding herb/fruit combinations to a pitcher of water. Basil and peppermint, fennel seed and orange peel, rosemary and persimmonhave fun with it!
