If you plan to visit the State Fair of Texas today, we want you to know that we can't wait to welcome you! Please be aware of some important updates about the Fair's opening today.The Fair will have a delayed opening of 2:00 p.m. today, October 15, 2023.Even though we're opening a little later, we still have an exciting day filled with Fair festivities for you, and we would like to provide you with a schedule of events for today.

Safety is the number one priority of the State Fair of Texas. We are committed to upholding the level of security required to ensure the State Fair of Texas event is a safe and family-friendly environment for all fairgoers, vendors, and employees.

We ask that everyone remain Fair Aware. If you see something that doesnt look right on the fairgrounds, please say something to a uniformed police officer or State Fair Safety Team member.
