We have just returned from the most wonderful few days in Rome. Made sweeter by the Supergas on our feet. We checked into The Hoxton hotel, and as ever it felt like home. Its the perfect location for walking and exploring. Nothing rivals the beds at the Hoxton and the breakfast is pretty good too. As with most of the travel days spent together, we were delayed but made it just in time for dinner. Alfredo alla Scrofa was our reservation of choice and it was some of the best pasta weve had. Make sure you book or youll be stood in a very long queue watching as the pasta passes you by. We didnt want to miss seeing the Trevi fountain at night in all its glory, a short walk from the restaurant, we headed over to throw our euros in and make a wish.

Day two started may have started with some rain but we wouldnt let it dampen our plans for the Rome Masters tennis. So it was a quick outfit change to something a little more practical just in case it got chilly. We both opted for our Club S Comfort trainers paying homage to the brands tennis origins and theyre more waterproof.

Superga has a wonderful and long history with tennis, and that can be seen in how the style has evolved now, effortless and super chic. We watched a couple of matches and then took some shelter from the rain. Which of course involved more pasta at Roscioli, one of the most recommended and highly rated spots. It was incredible, there are three locations so be sure to do your research. After we headed to the Colosseum, which definitely lived up to expectations, before enjoying a quick glass of wine with an excellent rooftop view at Soho House.
Day Three was our final day, and one we were both so excited to get to because we had a pasta and tiramisu making class booked. We both wore our Cotu Classics, perfect for lots of walking. To say that Lindsey is usually a nightmare in the kitchen would be an understatement but both her pasta and tiramisu came out beautifully. We loved this part of the trip as we got to meet other people at the class and the chef was great and clear. The best bit was of course, enjoying the fruits of our labour afterwards.
Then it was time to head off home to the airport, very full and very happy - Still wearing our Cotu Classics.
