Saturday, June 15th, 2024 Daily Prayer Eternal God, eternal Trinity,You have made the Blood of Christ so preciousthrough His sharing in Your Divine nature. You are a mystery as deep as the sea;the more I search, the more I find, and the more I find the more I search for You.But I can never be satisfied;what I receive will ever leave me desiring more. When You fill my soul I have an ever-greater hunger, and I grow more famished for Your light.I desire above all to see You,the true light, as you really are. Amen. - Saint Catherine of Siena Matthew 5:33-37 Again you have heard that it was said to them of old, Thou shalt not forswear thyself: but thou shalt perform thy oaths to the Lord. But I say to you not to swear at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God: nor by the earth, for it is his footstool: nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king: neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

He sees all, and he acts as though he did not. He considers all things and says nothing at all.I am mistaken. He does speak. His goodness, his generosity, his very silence are so many voices inviting sinners to repentance..." Continue reading here
Saint Germaine Cousin1579-1601 Born into an abusive family, Saint Germaine Cousin endured years of physical abuse, torments, and neglect by her parents and siblings. Despite the many illnesses she contracted due to years of maltreatment, Saint Germaine remained a charitable and gentle girl. As her illnesses worsened, her parents banished her to live in the barn with the sheep in fear she would infect the family. Becoming a shepherd, she attended Mass daily, miraculously never losing any sheep. Living a life of humility and charity, she died at the young age of twenty-two. Saint Germain Cousin, Pray for us!
