Hi Friend,
We are thrilled to announce
Juliet: A Revenge Comedy
by Pippa Mackie and Ryan Gladstone
an award-winning,
action-adventure comedy!
What if Juliet doesnt kill herself?
Stuck in an endless loop of turning a dagger on herself, Juliet (played by Lili Beaudoin) tears herself from the fabric of her tragedy in search of a reason for her untimely demise. Juliet recruits a team of the Bards most famous female characters (all played by Jessie Award-winner Carly Pokoradi). Together, they embark on an uproarious adventure through the canon, pursued by Shakespeare himself (played by Ryan Gladstone).
Can they alter their fate, or are they doomed to play out the same tragic tales for eternity?

The unemployed donkeys have one demand: the humans must surrender their machines and give all donkeys their jobs back. But revolution is never easy!
asses.masses is a custom-made video game by Patrick Blenkarn and Milton Lim about labour, technophobia and sharing the load of revolution, designed to be played from beginning to end in a live theatre. This is gaming as performance; an immersive, cheeky and highly original work. Brave spectators take turns at the controller to lead the herd through a post-Industrial society, where asses are valued more for their hides than their potential. With a story that unfolds over 7.5 hours (there will be breaks with food and a bar available), asses.masses is Animal Farm meets Pokmon meets Final Fantasy!
No previous gaming (or donkey) experience required to enjoy this innovative experience!

Large-scale shadow theatre from a birds eye view.
Crows are re-dreaming the world. Is the future all it's cracked up to be?
This modern fable is told using handmade layered projections, puppetry, masks, and an original musical score. Mind of a Snail's large scale shadow puppetry is quirky, colourful and beautiful, like early animation performed live before your eyes.
This event is a special Fringe Fundraiser! Your ticket purchase goes directly back to supporting the Fringe in producing the annual Fringe Festival.
