Hi Friend,
The Mirror
by Gravity & Other Myths
opens NEXT week!
JAN 2427
Vancouver Playhouse
The latest work from Gravity & Other Mythsthe company that brought you Backbone and A Simple SpaceThe Mirror strips bare the architecture of performance itself, offering much more than a metaphorical peek behind the curtain.
"The commonly applied term to our genre now is new circus," says director Darcy Grant in an article with the Vancouver Sun. "Because it fuses so many different physical styles and deconstructs the traditional form in so many wild and wonderful ways."
Grant also spoke with Stir. "If you want a deep dive into meaning that will be there; if you just want more entertainment, thats there as well. Each one of those audience members can have that experience. Its incredibly entertaining but its also questioning what entertaining is. We just hope everyone walks away with a big smile on their face.
