The 2023 vintage was for many a Right Bank vintage. Today seems to be the day of best values as the trio of tiny properties, Chx Tour Saint-Christophe, Bellefont-Belcier and Enclos Tourmaline.
Ch. Bellefont-Belcier situated between Larcis Ducasse and Tertre Rteboeuf boasts some of the finest terroir in Saint-Emilion, while Tour Saint-Christophes low pH gives the wine scintillating freshness and energy this vintage. The tiny one-hectare Pomerol estate Enclos Tourmaline is equally exciting and a real rarity.
All three of these properties sing with remarkable purity of fruit and a racy, mineral streak.
