Study: poor time management causes poor sleep for college students
A new study shows there is a connection between time management, particularly in organization, and sleep quality in full-time college students. Thats according to research conducted at The University of Alabama.
This study surveyed tradition entry college students between ages 18 and 24 to examine the correlation to time management and sleep quality within the students. 66% of UA students surveyed admitted they had poor sleep quality.

September is Baby Safety Month and the Consumer Safety Product Commission is recognizing it in its latest report.
The CPSC says the latest data shows between 2018 and 2020, there was an annual average of 100 baby deaths caused by extra bedding in the crib.
There were also 15 baby deaths associated with inclined infant products not intended for sleep.

A:Hey Gerald, approximately a third of our lives is spent sleeping. Although the mechanics of sleep may differ among animals, most of them share our need for sleepeven insects and more simple-brained creatures. While no one is really sure of the biological reason for sleep, despite decades of research, most scientists agree that sleep is critical for physiological and mental health. Some researchers hypothesize that sleep allows the brain to shut down in order to process memories; others suggest that sleep helps regulate the bodys hormones. What we do know is that sleep deprivation adversely affects organs such as the brain, heart, and lungs as well as ones metabolism, immune function, and tendency toward obesity.
