Inspect your floor for any damage, such as scratches, cracks or water damage. Addressing those promptly can prevent further damage and extend the lifespan of your flooring.
Sweep, vacuum or dry mop with a microfiber mop to remove debris, surface dirt and dust from the floor's surface.
Deep clean the floors with a mop or steam cleaner (depending on the surface) focusing on high-traffic areas and areas prone to spills or stains. Spot treat any stubborn stains or spills with products designed for your specific type of flooring.
