There are countless women in the travel space who have paved the way for us to travel beautifully today.
In celebration of International Women's Day, we're not only highlighting a handful of them and their incredible accomplishments - we also want to express our gratitude for the support so many women have offered us along our own journey.
As a female-founded brand, we believe deeply in the power of lifting other women up as we climb, and that generosity is multiplied and returned.
As a small token of our appreciation, enjoy 35% off your order today only, and raise a glass to the women from both past and present who have helped us land where we are today.

Dame Freya Stark
The extraordinary English-Italian 20th-centuryexplorer and travel writer was one of the first Westerners to travel through Iran and Arabia and penned a whopping 24 travel books. Combining practical travel tips with entertaining commentary, her work significantly contributed to the understanding of the Middle East.
"To awaken quite alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world. You are surrounded by adventure. You have no idea of what is in store for you, but you will, if you are wise and know the art of travel, let yourself go on the stream of the unknown and accept whatever comes in the spirit in which the gods may offer it."
Beverly Burns
Burns became the first woman to pilot a Boeing 747 in 1984 while cruising from Newark to Los Angeles, and knew she wanted to become a pilot after hearing a first officer comment that women are just not smart enough to do this job. Although Burns has been integral in opening the door for women to pilot aircraft today, female pilots still only make up 5% of pilots across the top 35 global airlines.
I knew as soon as the words came out of his mouththat I wanted to be an airline captain immediately.
Nellie Bly
Alone and with just a Gladstone bag in tow, the revolutionary American journalist raced around the world in a record-breaking 72 days in the late 1880s. Inspired by Jules Verne's novel "Around the World in Eighty Days," her journey challenged gender norms and set a new standard for adventurous travel.
"I always have a comfortable feeling that nothing is impossible if one applies a certain amount of energy in the right direction. When I want things done, which is always at the last moment, and I am met with such an answer: "It's too late. I hardly think it can be done;" I simply say: "Nonsense! If you want to do it, you can do it. The question is, do you want to do it?"
Bessie Coleman
Coleman was both the first woman of African American descent and the first woman of Native American descent to earn their pilots license in the early 1920s, but her impressive story doesn't end there: she did so at a time when women in the US weren't even allowed to get a license, by learning French, moving to France - where she could legally get her license - and then returning to the United States.
"I refused to take no for an answer."
Judi Wineland
In 1978, Wineland became the world's first woman to found an adventure travel company and now heads up AdventureWomen, a small-group, global adventure trip company for women that she runs with her two daughters. She also helped found Focus on Tanzanian Communities, a nonprofit that supports health, education and women's empowerment through sustainable projects.
"There is something poignant about the insights and epiphanies we have when we come into contact with different cultures whose traditions, norms and values are so unlike our own. I think travel is a lot about rediscovering what is inside ourselves and questioning who we are."
