Holiday markets, family gatherings, speed-dates with fave humans, daring back on to IG with our business, whipping up a caf with The Hotel W.I. and committing to an intentional screen detox with our excellent kids.
All of this action was inspired and made possible by the wonderful, generous, hilarious, thoughtful, open, supportive, curious, daring, badass humans in our lives that help us discern what good looks and feels like for us.

It is an absolute pleasure to spend my mornings Monday - Thursday with the rad, eclectic community of humans who pop in to The Hotel W.I. for a Haymakers Coffee, a savoury or sweet treat & to connect with each other.

Technically, this coffee has been brought to you thanks to rad human and Memorial Centre Farmers Market regular (and Haymakers coffee brewer depending on the intensity of our conversation)
Braden Dragomir of Untold Storytelling.
Braden emailed me over the summer to share that he just remembered that his film colleague and friend of 14yrs is also a 4th generation coffee farmer from El Salvador who also happens to produce Bradens favourite variety of coffee - Red Bourbon.
In my conversation with Bradens friend Fernando of Monte Alto Coffee Growers, he mentioned meeting Mathias of Republica Coffee Traders from Toronto. Mathias is originally from El Salvador and met Fernando at a coffee forum hosted in El Salvador last year and they discussed bringing Fernandos familys coffee to Canada.
As Fernando was/is up to his eyeballs in family/film/coffee commitments, I reached out to Mathias to let him know Haymakers Coffee Co. would love to purchase coffee from Monte Alto Coffee Growers when the time comes.
In the mean time, Mathias happened to have a natural red bourbon microlot from Las Nubes in stock in Toronto
