CONSERVATION SPOTLIGHT
The folks at RIO have replaced the traditional plastic fly line spools with one that is made from 100%recycled newsprint. This new spool is not only recyclable, but is compostable as well. This move will keep more than 20,000 pounds of plastic out of the landfill each year. Hats off to RIO for leading by example when it comes to environmental stewardship. To learn more about the new fly line spools, check out this video.
