EVENT RECAP | STUDENTS GOLF & BODEGA PRESENTS FIELD TRIP: PARIS GOLF TOURNAMENT
On June 17th, 2024, we teed off with Students Golf in France for the Field Trip: Paris Golf Tournament, celebrating the sport's growing popularity amongst younger generations and both our roles in knocking down pretty much every stereotype you can think of surrounding the game and its culture. Taking place at the historic RCF La Boulie Golf Club in Versailles during Paris Fashion Week, it was the perfect opportunity to host some of the clothing industry's best and brightest. Centered around a 2-Man Best Ball tournament that rolled into a Shootout bonus round for the top 10 teams, there were times you could cut the tension with a 5-iron. But beyond the thin veil of competition, it goes without saying that inclusivity, diversity, and the prospect of having a great time on the course were the true goals at the end of the day. Not to mention the event itself was dedicated to a good cause. Partnering with the non-profit organization Sports Dans La Ville of France, a charity for underserved children and young adults specializing in sports and job-readiness training, whether you spent most of the day on the green or in a bunker, golf can be just as much about outreach and community building as it's about sinking shots and racing carts.
