Made in Maine
A winter in Maine is filled with long dark nights and cold quiet days. I'm looking forward to brisk winter walks, working on craft projects and tackling puzzles in the evening. This colder season always equals extra laundry for my family since we all are wearing multiple layers everyday in order to stay cozy and warm.
Here are some winter laundry tips that I always stick.
1. Wash large loads in cold water.
2. Before putting everything into the dryer at once, take time to separate lightweight fabrics (synthetics - long underwear, gym clothes) from heavy fabrics (jeans, sweaters).
3. Toss LooHoos into the dryer and dry only the heavier pile first.
4. As soon as the heavy load is finished, remove them and put in the lighter pile and dry them on a short cycle. That way, the lighter fabric won't become overly dry and be free of static.
I like to use 5 or more LooHoos in every load to help soften our clothes and reduce dry time.
