Mom Fail Monday: Vol. 8

After a friend openly shared her own insecurities about her capacity in motherhood, I started thinking about how easy it is for us to compare ourselves to the curated feeds we see in this space. The truth is that we are all drowning to some degree - life is hard and no matter how much we romanticize our days, nobody is perfect. So, how can we normalize these moments more? By sharing them.

For a couple months now, we've been sharing what you consider to be your parenting fails the ones that left you uncomfortable, embarrassed, maybe even a little mortified on Instagram, but wanted to spread the love here as well.

The idea is that if we talk about these things openly and anonymously, we not only get them off our own chests but we're creating a space that lets other moms know they're not alone.
