A Talk with Martin Chapman on His 20 Years as a FAMSF Curator

Help us celebrate Martin Chapmans retirement after serving for nearly 20 years as the curator in charge of European decorative arts and sculpture. This lecture is an opportunity to hear how Martin has developed the collections at the Fine Arts Museums through acquisitions, installations, and exhibitions. Topics will range from the acquisition of the Florentinepanelof Opificio della Pietre Dure and the spectacular Londonderry table to the blockbuster exhibitions Cartier and America and Art of Bulgari, extensive Salon Dor project, and new installations for the Rodin centenary.
