Learn more about the people of Irving Penns Worlds in a Small Room series and his other photography from around the world. Join Papua New Guinea scholar, artist, and curator Michael Mel; San Francisco photographer Baidi Kamagate; philosopher, political scientist, and art critic Seloua Luste Boulbina; and curator and scholar Andrs Garay Albjar as they share their insights on the culture and people featured in these photographs. The talk will be moderated by director of interpretation Abram Jackson and curator of American art Emma Acker.
