Happy mother's day
May 12th
The word conjures thoughts of love, pure and simple. Yet that person can take many forms. Be it a mentor, a teacher, a nurse, a muse, a friend. We should think of it as a verb - to mother, the act of blind adoration.
This month we want to recognize and revere those who mother. Who beyond measure, love us dearly and in return enrich and touch our lives. Asking nothing back in return. May we all bestow awe and gratitude not only on this single day but every day in some small way. Ever-sharing acts of kindness.
I am blessed to say I have Ines and my son has me, and we each have so much more. That I remind myself daily.
Let us be the reflection of a mother's love because as the saying goes, and it's never been more true, what the world needs now is love...
