Happy Pride, Can Fam!
This month, were highlighting some of the many LGBTQIA+ winemakers that are making waves in wine. Theyre pioneers, theyre advocates, theyre innovators, and theyre crushing the game (and also grapes) allll year long.
Time to meet the makers behind our summer Pride Pack:
Meet Terah
Terah Bajjalieh found her love of wine by way of food and refined her unique style from her travels across the globe. Now the founder of Terah Wine Co, she prides herself on quality from grape choices to farming practices to the ultimate final product and chooses to work with independent growers and organic and biodynamic vineyards.
Terahs M.O. is to make wine that pairs well with food, which shes accomplished perfectly with our memorable natural wines: Orange Vermentino and Carbonic Sangiovese.
Wine by wives, T&M
Wife-and-wife winemaking team Tara and Mireiause minimal intervention and native yeast fermentation to create hand-crafted, terroir-driven wines. After years of traveling the world's wine regions together (and falling in love along the way), they married and started their label Camins 2 Dreams the path to their dreams as a nod to their love of travel, wine, and each other.
Our Albario is a fitting homage to their love story: its made from grapes native to Mireias homeland in a valley home to Taras tribe, and was our first-ever natural wine.
These wines are our pride and joy
