Mountain Meadow Herbs was formed from a mothers desperate search to find solutions for her firstborn that were less intrusive then dialysis and transplant surgery he faced at a very young age.
Kathy spent countless hours researching and testing different combinations of herbs in order to find the perfect combination to help her son.
The first products she created were focused around the function of the kidneys, with Kidney Support Formula being one of the originals (and its still just as popular today)!
As Kathys reputation and knowledge of herbs grew, so did the companys product line.
Requests for other herbal solutions came from all over, including midwives looking for products to help expecting and nursing moms and their families. By 2003, Mountain Meadow Herbs had 31 products, including our popular Hormone Balance Formula, Tone & Cleanse, Herbal Calcium, Herbal Iron, Herbal Respiratory, Para-Rid and Gentle Birth. Even our immune boosting formulas were there though under different names at that time.
Gentle Birth quickly topped the charts as one of our best-selling products.
Like many of our products, it was created due to customer request. Moms and midwives were asking for something that could help ease the process of childbirth, and after trying Gentle Birth both moms and midwives were raving about the benefits they experienced as they sent in dozens of testimonies. With every bottle of Gentle Birth, there were product surveys. They asked moms and midwives what they thought about the product, as well as if they were taking any other supplements at the same time.
Through this process, the recipe was perfected to become the formula that we all know and love today, containing herbs that have traditionally been used as uterine tonics in preparation of childbirth as well as some with calming effects, mild labor pain relief, and digestive support.
This year Mountain Meadow Herbs is celebrating its 22nd year! We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have helped support our company.
