Jewelry Making: Rings & Bangles Premium Workshop
Korean Bojagi Four-Point Cushions
Bojagi is a traditional Korean textile art characterized by its emphasis on visible, decorative stitching. In this premium workshop led by artist Youngmin Lee, you'll learn how to join fabric pieces together by hand (no sewing machine required) using stitches that are intentionally left visible on the surface of the textile.
The stitching often creates geometric patterns or designs, such as squares, rectangles, or diamonds, which are a hallmark of bojagi.
Bojagi stitching is not only functional but also highly artistic, reflecting traditional Korean aesthetics and craftsmanship. The careful arrangement of fabric pieces and the meticulous stitching demonstrate a harmonious blend of precision and creativity.
