Dear Conservancy Supporter,
How will you celebrate Earth Day this year? How about protecting 10x more lands, water and wildlife?
That's right give now and every dollar will be matched 10x between now and Earth Day on April 22!
Earth Day is a moment for nature lovers like you and me to come together and show our commitment to protecting the planet. And with the dual crises of climate change and species loss intensifying, we must do even more to secure a livable future. Because our health, water, food and the biodiversity of our planet are at risk.
But the good news is the solutions are right in front of us.
That's why we're kicking off an extra-special Earth Day Match to keep our critical conservation work moving forward. Thanks to a group of generous donors, all donations will be matched up to $1 million between now and April 22!
Give now and every $1 will become $10 to save precious lands and waters.
Here's one example of how your generosity today can put our natural world on a better path.
We know that forests represent a powerful opportunity to pull carbon out of the atmosphere, helping to cool our planet while also providing clean air, clean water and habitat for wildlife. Across the country, we're ramping up solutions that use the power of nature in the fight against climate change and we need your help to keep progress like this moving forward.
Like in New Mexico, where wildfires, rising temperatures and drought have destroyed
hundreds of thousands of acres of forests. With your support, we recently planted nearly
92,000 seedlings of Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir and Aspen trees. Each of these came from a
seed that was carefully gathered from trees resilient to the hot and dry weather and nurtured
in a greenhouse for up to 2 years before being planted.
Not only will these special seedlings improve the health of the forests and make them more
resistant to hotter and drier weather, but they'll also help protect water for more than 1
million people and much of New Mexico's wildlife.
Can I count on you to make an Earth Day gift that has 10X the power to protect the nature you love?
There's so much that nature can do to help solve the climate crisis, and so much that we can do to protect nature. That's what gives me hope.
But the window of time to make the right choices is closing quickly.
Please act now. We are ready to match your Earth Day gift 10x!
The actions we take today will define our future. As a loyal member, you can feel proud knowing you are part of an environmental legacy that's making our natural world a better place.
With gratitude,
