June is one of the most exciting times of the year for the Broadway Community, as awards season is in full swing! Wake up in the city that never sleeps and join TheaterMania for a starry weekend of amazing theater and wonderful company.
The weekend will begin Friday evening with one of the most highly anticipated musicals of the season, the new Kander and Ebb (Chicago, Cabaret) musical with additional lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), New York, New York. We cant think of a better way to start off an NYC weekend!
Saturday afternoon, Tony Award winner Ben Platt stars in the highly anticipated Broadway transfer of Jason Robert Browns stunning musical Parade. Following dinner with a very special guest, we will head to Funny Girl, starring Lea Michele and Ramin Karimloo, to see the performance that everyone is talking about!
Stephen Sondheim fans will be thrilled with our Sunday selection when they join us for Josh Groban, Annaleigh Ashford, and The Worst Pies in London as we take in the highly anticipated revival of Sondheims thrilling Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
