Join TheaterMania and embark on a great adventure! We have curated a great weekend of not-to-be-missed shows. Strap on your roller skates and get ready to be surprised. The weekend will begin Friday evening Tony Award winners Victoria Clark and Bonnie Milligan in Kimberly Akimbo, winner of the 2023 Tony Award for Best Musical.
Saturday afternoon, you will go to Purlie Victorious, A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch. Broadways first revival of this hit comedy stars Tony and Grammy Award Winner Leslie Odom Jr. in his return to Broadway. Following dinner with a special guest, get ready for &Juliet by the Emmy Winning writer of Schitts Creek. This hilarious new musical flips the script of the greatest love story ever told.
On Sunday, we head to see the original starts of The Book of Mormon together again in a hilarious new musical! Gutenberg! The Musical! stars Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells, directed by Alex Timbers, the guy responsible for Bettlejuice and Moulin Rouge!.
Not enough theater for you? We understand! Start your weekend early on Thursday with the terrifying tale of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street starring Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford.
Want even more? Get ready for an immersive musical experience unlike anything Broadway has seen. From the minds of David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, Here Lies Love is a groundbreaking musical about former Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcoss astonishing rise to power and subsequent fall at the hands of the Philippine People Power Revolution. You will be able to be on the dance floor for this fully immersive experience or be seated to oversee the action.
