Their 2021 Pommerd Premier Cru Les Chanlins, made by Porcherets granddaughter and grown on a tiny one-acre patch of Premier Cru vines in one of the estates top vintages, practically took my breath away. The nose alone is electric: A classic Pommard mix of black cherry and sous-bois leap from the bowl, all swirling together with rose petals and exotic spices.
